I've done this up fairly quickly so I apologise if there are any mistakes or if the numbers aren't correct. Also, if you feel that there are any glaring omissions please let me know.
MVP Candidates for Season 28:
Tommy Vercetti (Sunshine Swing)Ė 20.8ppg, 5.1apg, 49.1% FG, 41.3% 3pt
Good numbers, and for most of the season he has had a very high shooting percentage, although it has dipped in the last few games. Being on the number 1 team helps his cause, heíll be in with a good chance.
Michael Knox (RK Croquet Hoes)- 16.1ppg, 7.2apg, 48% FG, 40.1% 3pt, 1.2spg
If he hasnít been scoring, heís been dishing it. Racked up five double-doubles this season, all against teams in Pro A. Solid numbers in both points and assists, and his team has been solid all season. Also averages more then a steal per game. Best game of the season: 24pts, 13 assists (vs Sunshine Swing 10/1/11)
Kim Kardashian (Renegade and the Renegades)- 11.2ppg, 8.1apg, 46.3% FG, 40.6% 3pt
9 double-doubles so far this season, and has registered 10 or more assists on 16 occasions with a season high coming against SVIT earlier on in the season. Highest assists average out of all the contenders, but also has the lowest scoring average. Still in with a shot at winning. Best game of the season: 14pts, 10 assists, 4-7 3pters (vs TBA 10/11/11)
Carl Johnson is With Your Mum (The Great Pretenders)- 17.5ppg, 4.0apg, 50.6%FG, 51.7% 3pt
Amazingly shooting over 50% from behind the arc. While his numbers are a bit behind most of the other contenders Iíve included him because of his shooting percentages. Of course, being on a perennial team helps his case. Has scored in double figures in all but ten games this season, and had a season high 51 points against Dizzy Llamas (10/22/11), hitting 16-25 from downtown.
Scrooge McDuck (Clan McDuck) - 18.2ppg, 4.6apg, 50.4% FG, 41.6% 3pt
Looking for his 10th career award, Scrooge is in with an excellent shot at getting one this season. He has similar numbers to Carl Johnson is With Your Mum, except his shooting percentages are a bit lower. But Clan McDuck has been at the top all season, and that will work in his favour. He has had 14 games where he has scored over 20 points, including two double-doubles. Best game of the season: 27pts, 10 assists, 7-11 3pters (vs RK Croquet Hoes 10/25/11).
Maybe Next Season:
Fearless PACMAN (Quarter Billion Boys) - 8.1ppg, 7.4apg, 4.4rpg, 45.9% FG, 34.9% 3pt
PACMAN has good stats all-round, but unfortunately his team hasnít been doing as well. He has gotten a lot of rebounds for a guard, and that was the main reason why he was included. His assist numbers are pretty solid (11 games with 10+), however, he has struggled to put points on the board. Best game of the season: 11pts, 12 assists, 5 rebounds and 100% shooting (vs Clan McDuck 10/16/11).
Captain Marvel (Waldorf Wildcats) - 9.4ppg, 8.9apg, 42% FG, 33.3% 3pt
Itís been a very consistent season for Captain Marvel, but the same cannot be said about his team. 19 games of 10 or more assists and 6 triple doubles would have him a shoe-in for MVP if his team were closer to the top, but with his team being a fringe Pro A team at best I think heíll be lucky to be in consideration. But it isnít all isnít gloomy for Marvel, he should at least pick up a Second team award, which will give him five awards for his career. Best game of the season: 21pts, 13 assists (vs RP Kanto Ballers 10/08/11)
Final Say: It all depends on how much you weigh assists against points, and also how much you take the player's team's position into account. Michael Knox and Tommy Vercetti would be my favourites. Of course, we'd then have to weigh them against the pure scorers.
Kisuke Urahara (Soul Society)- 37.6ppg, 48.5% FG, 41.9% 3pt, 1.1spg
It has been a massive season for Urahara, he has hit a total of 393 3pt shots (if my addition is correct ) His team has been right up there near the top all season, and heíll be looking to continue his big run in the post season. Scored 58 points against Buckdaddy (9/25/11). He has hit 10 or more 3pters in 21 games so far this season and is the second highest scorer in Pro A.
Son of ToFu (RK CH)- 32.6ppg, 44.3%FG, 37.8% 3pt
While his numbers arenít as high as Urahara, he has had yet another very high scoring season. He will be looking to add to his three awards so far, and with his team sure to go deep in the playoffs that number looks likely to increase. His shooting percentage isnít up there with the others, and youíd think heíd be behind Urahara in the MVP race. Best game of the season: 49pts, 15-30 from deep (vs Dizzy Llamas 10/23/11).
Sterling Archer (TBA)- 38.7ppg, 45.1% FG, 38.0% 3pt
We canít leave the leading scorer in Pro A off the MVP short-list. Sure, his percentages arenít as good as the Urahara but he does have an extra point per game on him. He has scored 60 or more points on three occasions this season, and has only been held to less than 20 once. Has hit over 10 3pters in 23 games. Best game of the season: 52pts, 14-27 3pters (vs Renegades 10/11/11)
Maybe Next Season:
Stefan Xanders (Renegade and the Renegades)- 28.8ppg, 50.7% FG, 43% 3pt
Should be looking at a Second team award, his numbers just arenít comparable to Archer and Urahara. Saying that, he has had a pretty good season, apart from the last couple of games. He hit 40 points or more eight times this season. Was held to a season low 5 points against Sunshine Swing today, and that certainly didnít help his average. Best game of the season: 54 pts, 10 reb, 14-23 3pters (vs Quarter Billion Boys 10/21/11).
Fox McCloud (Sunshine Swing) Ė 27.8ppg, 49.5% FG, 43.4% 3pt
If he hadnít has such a slow start to the season Fox McCloud would be right up there with Urahara and Archer. His last twenty odd games have been excellent, and he has only taken 20 or more 3pt shoots on 5 occasions, which shows that he has a good percentage. He has the third best 3pt percentage in Pro A, and being on the number one team should get him some sort of award. Best game of the season: 48 pts, 12-18 3pters (vs The Great Pretenders 10/27/11).
Final Say: Kisuke Urahara would easily be the favourite here. He has a better shooting percentage and his team as been more dominant than Archer's.
He Hate Me (The Great Pretenders) Ė 11.0ppg, 13.2rpg, 46.7% FG, 37.9% 3pt, 1.5 spg
His statistics probably arenít high enough to get MVP, but he is definitely worth a mention because there isnít anyone else like this out there this season. He has a pretty good shooting percentage for a player of his type, and a double-double average is impressive. 15/15 might have given him a better shot for MVP, but heíll be unlucky not to get an award. Best game of the season 24pts 17 reb, 6-8 3pters (vs TBA 10/28/11).
cparkís Hybrid Guard Ratings:
1st - Tommy Vercetti, Scrooge McDuck, Carl Johnson Ė 14 stars
2nd Ė Kim Kardashian and Michael Knox Ė 9 stars
(Scored in PPG, APG, FG% and 3PT% with 1st getting 5 stars, 2nd getting 4 stars and so on until the 5th gets 1 star. Done for each of the listed statistics.)
1st- Kisuke Urahara Ė 8 stars
2nd Ė Sterling Archer Ė 7 stars
3rd Ė Son of ToFu Ė 3 stars
(Scored in PPG, FG% and 3PT% with first getting 3 stars, 2nd getting 2 stars and 3rd getting 1 star. Done for each of the listed statistics.)
Verdict: It's hard to decide between Michael Knox, Tommy Vercetti and Kisuke Urahara. Any three of them could easily win it, but if I had to pick one I'd probably pick Michael Knox.

Very nice write up
wow PACMAN got mentioned
nicely done cpark.
Michael Knox looks solid, but if Souls makes to final 4..then Kisuke Urahara will win it all.
just be careful with HE HATE ME, he might ruin my pick.
whats that? ah, the regular season games, nice wins by TBA.
Good write up
C. With Your Mom,M. Knox,K. Kardashian and a non-mentioned B. Victoria of soul society shines in 1st and 2nd round games

looks like Urahara is in front
It?°•s already been a really regular period pertaining to Chief Amazing, but the same cannot be said concerning his staff. Nineteen online games involving 12 or higher helps as well as Some triple greatly improves might have him a shoe-in regarding Most valuable player when their group have been closer to the top, however with his team as a perimeter Pro A staff at finest I believe he?°•ll always be fortuitous to stay consideration. Nevertheless it isn?°•t all isn?°•t dark with regard to Amazing, he or she ought to at least pick-up an extra group award, that can supply him with several accolades for his job. Best bet on the time of year: 21pts, 13 assists (compared to RP Kanto Ballers 10/08/11)
Final Say: All this depends on the amount you weigh assists towards details, and also just how much you take the gamblers crew's position into account. Erika Knox as well as Tommy Vercetti can be my personal favourites. Needless to say, i'd then ought to consider all of them from the natural scorers.
let me finish that for you.....truck
how about this year?
how about this year?
Did you want an MVP one or a contending teams one?
@cpark, both.. it's ok if it's short as long as we something to read and excited about haha
