Ok... just had my first draft (in 2 leagues).
This league - 10 teams (2 keepers). We just moved from 16 teams to 10 (getting rid of teams that weren't quite "as serious" as desired). Because of that, I only opted to keep 1 keeper (Rodgers) - that allowed me to draft Gronk in the second round.
Positions are: QB/WR x2/RB x2/TE/Flex (WR/RB/TE)/K/DST +6 bench.
My team:
QB: Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck
RB: DeMarco Murray, Steven Jackson, Darren Sproles, LeGarrette Blount
WR: Marques Colston, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Brown, Torrey Smith, Mario Manningham
TE: Rob Gronkowski, Jared Cook
PK: Mason Crosby
TD: Houston Texans
At both WR/RB, I feel it's not exciting per se, but I like the depth I have there. I'd imagine most weeks I'd be going:
QB: Rodgers
RB: Murray/Jackson
WR: Colston/Brown
TE: Gronk
Flex: Sproles
K: Crosby
DST: Texans
Thoughts?

Looks pretty solid to me. I've had most of those WR's and the only thing is they have been highly inconsistent to this point in their careers and Colston seems to get injured quite often.

You're roster is looking real good, lot of depth in case of injuries/bye weeks.
i'm in a 20 team league with my boys.

Wow... Odom - 20 team league? Never played in one that big (had a few 16 team ones). That's insane, and I'll tell you: that team is pretty damn good for a league that large.
If I were you, I'd consider dropping the Oakland D. Baltimore's bye isn't until week 8, see if you can pick up a flyer. Hell... for that matter, do you need 3 TEs? Not sure Pitta's going to do anything.
One helluva roster for a 20 team league...

Not as happy with this one. Relying on Vick/Jackson to be better than last season, and Peterson to come back healthy.

I was 1 pick away from Gronk in the 2nd round, and 1 pick away from Adrian Peterson in the 3rd. Fuck me. Instead, I got Jennings and Welker.

Given the depth at WR this year, I think it's nuts to go early on receivers. Unless it's Megatron.

Not being an expert per se, but I think you've done ok. A tad thin at RB. Ok at receiver.
If I were you I'd dump Heap, and see if you can trade Vick. Heap: you're never going to play him over Cook, except for your bye week. And you can absolutely get better off the waiver wire.
Similar with Newton. Very rarely are you going to play Vick over Newton. So you're going to get more bang for your buck by trading him for someone for something good. Perhaps a RB? You can pick up a back-up QB off the waiver wire, or target someone who has someone like... Palmer or Bradford on their roster, and have them include them on the deal. Doing that, go Vick+Spiller for <good-ish RB>+Palmer.

I learned that in the mid-rounds. I was set to get Rodgers, Gronk, and AP 1-2-3. But Gronk and AP each went 1 pick before me, so I took the two best available in my mind (Jennings/Welker). I think Gore and Turner will turn out great this year -- both backs have had at least a crazy good season in the last few years. And I can't believe I got Peyton Hillis so late.. last year really hurt his stock.

AP in the 3rd round is a tad bit of a reach... well... a lil'. He is coming off major knee surgery, and historically players in that situation do not do so well. Unfortunately... I reached on him myself in my Yahoo league. Massively. Thanks autopick and a sudden bout of inattention!
Anyway: I agree on Turner, disagree on Gore, and agree on Hillis (well... depending on WHERE you took him!).

I just like AP. I think it's a risky pick, but I'm willing to take that. It was mid-later 3r round, too.
I got Hillis in 9th (#85). He's on my bench, so I was more than willing to take a flyer.
